Visited on a Thursday evening in July. The teaching is quiet and the props are genuinely enough, which is rarer than it sounds. The studio lends everything, so nobody arrives carrying kit.

Settle and set up
Choose a spot, collect bolsters and blankets. The room is dim and stays that way.

Five long-held shapes
Each supported by props and held for six to eight minutes. Nothing is held that hurts.

Sound rest
Fifteen minutes of bowls while you stay in the last shape. Some people sleep; that is a fine outcome.

Twelve mats, wooden floor, no mirrors. Runs a small evening timetable and lends everything you need, so nobody has to arrive carrying kit.
